Why Custom Manufacturing is An Incredible Value

  • Traditionally, factories produce items and sell them to suppliers (local warehouses) who sell them to distributors (like TSC) who then sell them to clients. The downside with this model is customization options are limited to post-production basics.

    If you’re buying hats, for example, your customization options are generally limited to 1) selecting existing colors and 2) putting your logo on the product. So you either pick a mass produced hat off the shelf and embroider it with your logo (nothing wrong with that!), or you can do something bespoke for a better price.

  • We go straight to the manufacturer and let you create the product you want with the exact specifications you need. Down to the finest details. In our hat example, in addition to the basic options already mentioned, you might also 1) put your business’ name on the tag instead of the manufacturer’s, 2) apply branded hang tags with your specified logos or messaging, 3) create your own color scheme for every component of the hat.

    If you can believe it (which you should) - you can get all those additional customization options for a better price than is possible when going the traditional promotional product route. We secure these cost savings for our clients by cutting out the “middle man markup” costs associated with traditional promotional product supply chains. We know. It’s a pretty big deal.
